After making her debut on the scene in 2015 with her two banging singles 'For That I'm Sorry' and 'Morals,' BATTS is back again with a brand new single for 2016 called 'Kiki.'

Tanya Batt (BATTS) has a rich, vibrant voice that soars up to high notes and drops low without difficulty and melds perfectly with every other sound in 'Kiki.' With the help FICCI, her producer and longtime collaborator, BATTS builds a textured electronic landscape and a whimsical, surrealistic atmosphere to sit alongside heart wrenching lyrics.

Based in Melbourne, Batts claims both her Australian and English heritage, having now spent half her life in each country and draws heavily on the sounds she heard in her childhood in England. Considering 'Kiki' was recorded in the UK, Batts having flown over to work with Ficci in person, it's no wonder the track is so captivating.

Of 'Kiki' and the meaning behind the lyrics, Batts says the song is about "the overthinking element that takes over your mind after a breakup". It's undeniably a breakup song, but, without a doubt, heartbreak has never sounded this good.
