Order Of Operation is essentially an exercise in making losing your shit a danceable concern. Even thrash punk like We’re Cops is luridly smashed to bits by a simple key slide. Freedom Of Information is Devo for dickheads; Stadiums sneers before glistening with Unit-era ‘Gurge delirium; Wrong’s simple riffs are undercut by soft melodies and an ode to never being right. And that’s Ausmuteants in a nutshell – something so wrong ends up being so, so right.
