In Spotify's 'mood playlists', a series of artists always dominate their top halves. Many of them have no digital footprint and a lot of them credit the exact same songwriters. Why are these mechanically created songs taking the place of real artists and bands who are working hard to grab these slots?

It is all going down on the 25th of September and it's completely free.

The line up is led by international superstars from the rap and dance worlds and backed by fantastic local DJs,

The party will take place at Melbourne's PICA (Port Melbourne Industrial Centre For The Arts) on Saturday the 26th of November
