Safia are three very young chaps fresh out of Canberra who are on the verge of world domination. At the time of shooting this video they’d just wrapped up a massive tour supporting Elizabeth Rose, and had just been announced as the main support for Lorde’s now sadly postponed Australian tour. A national tour in celebration of a new single for the WA punkers.. 2013 WAM Award nominees for Punk Act Of The Year, Perth five-piece punk-rockers FAIM have just announced a cracker-jack new single in Means To Their Ends, and are celebrating with a little trip around the country. Means To Their Ends packs in all the theatrical, crazed and frenetic punky pace we've come to expect from the outfit: The tour kicks off in Brisbane in a couple of weeks, and probably hits a town near you from there. The Love Junkies play in-your-face rock’n’roll that errs on the side of grunge, with some punk and blues thrown in for good measure, and they do it real good. We caught them in the middle of recording their second album, having just got back from another Australian tour supporting another national act – i.e. The Love Junkies are a group you’re gonna get to know real fast. The kid with the midas touch strikes again.. We'll always have time for Melbourne young gun Japanese Wallpaper, who has been consistently impressing us since day dot (when he was like 12 or something), and his latest release is no different. Waves dabbles in downtempo electronica like only JW knows how, and this time he's got the added bonus of Jinja Safari's Pepa Knight providing drifting, dreamy vocals. Alldeezy is takin' his tricks on the road this May/June.. Aus' hip hop prince (or is that jester?) is touring the country once again this month with his party-starting flavour of hip-hop and good times on a 10-date tour, including regional stops and underage shows, with support from up-and-comers Jackie Onassis and Mikey Hundred. Coming hot off the release of his latest single Right Now and receiving national airplay as well as a rap battle challenge from 360, dope will do when it comes to descriptors for what it's gon' be like. You might even get some samples from his upcoming debut album, which is getting the finishing touches put on it in Los Angeles. Currently traversing the country supporting Aus' dance legends The Presets, Sydney duo Wordlife were kind (see: fucking awesome) enough to give us a free tune for your downloading pleasure.
