New Music: Father John Misty – I Love You, Honeybear (Album Stream)
Father John Misty lays his heart bare but then throws acid over it in I Love You, Honeybear.. "Mobile lifestyle, lovely sex, independence, happiness oh and no one ever really knows the real you," sings Father John Misty in Holy Shit, as he seemingly extols and mopes about the desires and perceptions of being middle-class. Yes we want to be able to go to Paris and take the same goddamn photo of the Eiffel Tower, yeah sure we all want a good fuck but we wouldn’t be too close with that clingy individual. Oh wait, I feel alone in this world. It’s so middle-class it’s barely funny. You can almost hear Father John Misty chuckling as he wrote down the lyrics. Katie Noonan's Vanguard - Peace Is My Drug (Oisima Remix) [Premiere]
An odd pairing perhaps - but also a bloody great one.. One of this country's most interesting and forward-thinking producers, Oisima, is once again bucking trend against what people may think he's up to, today dropping a remix from Australian songstress Katie Noonan and her un-released track, Peace Is My Drug. Noonan's no stranger to the burgeoning Aussie electronic scene, recently collaborating with Flight Facilities on their Down To Earth track, Apollo, and her voice combined with the low slung beats of Oisima are a perfect match. This remix features on a five-track EP, alongside remixes from fellow Australian producers cln and Inkswel: KATIE NOONAN TOUR DATES: Follow Katie Noonan: FACEBOOK / WEBSITE Follow Oisima: FACEBOOK / WEBSITE

Tour Announce: Stick To Your Guns
Californian hard hitters Stick To Your Guns are playing a bunch of dates in Australia.. Influential Californian hardcore outfit Stick To Your Guns are back with their fifth studio album Disobedient.  The heavily anticipated follow-up to 2012's Diamond is set for release tomorrow (10 February) and was recorded with legendary punk and hardcore producer John Feldmann (The Used, Saosin, We Came As Romans).  STYG released an animated lyric video late last year for the ferocious What Choice Did You Give Us? - a track showcasing a clear social and political agenda. If it’s anything to go by; the overall theme of the forthcoming album is going to be darker than what we’re used to from the traditionally positive five piece. Upon Disobedient’s announcement, frontman Jesse Barnett had this to say on the album’s focus and inspiration: "Growing up in a world where we are taught to submit, blindly follow and unquestioningly comply, this album is a critique and unlearning of these Stepford mindsets.
