Taylor SwiftDiscogs has unveiled its Year in Review, sharing users’ Most Collected releases in 2025. And we can narrow things down by region to see what users in Oceania put on their shelves this year.
The Most Collected Artists for users in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and thousands of smaller islands aren’t all that surprising. Of course, music fans are still adding (and gifting) The Beatles albums to their collection.
And with so many records printed for Taylor Swift albums, reissues of Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here, and the consistent catalogue of AC/DC, it’s not a shock to see them on the list. Other frequently collected artist catalogues include David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, U2, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, and Led Zeppelin.
Things get a little more interesting with the Most Collected Album list, which finds Hilltop Hoods’ Fall From The Light and Lorde’s Virgin sharing space with Swift’s The Life Of A Showgirl, Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend, and Lady Gaga’s MAYHEM.
Along with other popular albums by Charli XCX (Brat And It's Completely Different) and Gracie Abrams’ The Secret Of Us (Live From Radio City Music Hall), Japan’s The Art Of Parties appears on the list next to Ryuichi Sakamoto’s Beauty and Sleep Token’s Even In Arcadia.
Hilltop Hoods appear again in the Most Collected 7-inch category, with The Nosebleed Section on the list with Chappell Roan’s The Giver, Good Luck, Babe!, and Pink Pony Club, Charli XCX’s Guess, and more.
Most Collected Reissue is another interesting category, as Ethel Cain’s Preacher’s Daughter tops the list that features artists such as Hole, Frank Ocean, Tracy Chapman, Tyler, The Creator, and more.

Discogs’ Year in Review is powered by the website’s collection database. As the service notes, Taylor Swift dominated the US charts, while music fans in Nordic countries were drawn to metal and hard rock acts. “Classic Cumbia and MPB” experienced a surge in Latin America, and as we’ve noted in the Oceania stats, Hilltop Hoods and a couple of surprising other acts stole the stage.
