The Factory Theatre will welcome the second annual Vintage & Custom Drum Expo this August, bringing forth a raft of the country's foremost percussion craftspeople as well as several prominent international representatives.
Among the stacked line-up of skins'n'sticks boffins headed to the expo are leading Aussie organisations such as Sleishman, Evetts Drums, Moody Drums, JPP Drums, Red Rock Drums Australia, Blackbird Drums, Sia Drums, Kentville Drums, Roulette and Pansini Percussion, while world-beating manufacturers joining the fray include pace-setters such as Ludwig Australia, Craviotto Drum Company, C&C Drums Australia, Gretsch, Sakae Drums, Murat Diril Cymbals, Humes & Berg, Protec and Collision Drumsticks, DW Drums, Meinl Cymbals, Evans Drumheads, Promark Sticks, Puresound Wires, SKB, Q Drum Co, Pork Pie Percussion, Truth Custom Drums, TRX Cymbals, Gibraltar, Cympads and more.
Spread across three zones — the Main Halls, a Performance Stage (featuring acts yet to be confirmed) and a Market Stall Area — the 2016 Vintage & Custom Drum Expo, proudly presented by The Music, will boast a smorgasbord of product demos, artist clinics, vintage drum showcases, exhibitors and all manner of other pro-percussion points of interest.
The expo will be held at the Factory Theatre on Sunday 14 August. Tickets will go on sale via the Factory Theatre Box Office from this Monday, 16 May. See the venue's website for more information.
