The stalwart British rockers hit the antipodes in March next year
Twelve albums into their acclaimed career, British indie-rock mainstays The Charlatans have announced a run of Aussie tour dates — their first since 2010 — for next year, taking them to capital cities along the east, south and west coasts of the country this March.
Coming in the wake of their well-received latest full-length Modern Nature — likewise, their first new album output since 2010's Who We Touch — the band will kick off their antipodean sojourn in Sydney, at Max Watt's, on Friday 11 March, before heading up to the venue of the same name in Brisbane on 12 March and down to Melbourne to perform at 170 Russell on 13 March. From there, they head west, stopping off at The Gov, in Adelaide, on Tuesday 15 March on the way to their ultimate destination at the Capitol, in Perth, on 16 March.
Tickets for The Charlatans' 2016 Australian tour are available through OzTix and select venues. For more information, see theGuide or The Music App.
