Just days before their highly anticipated Australian tour begins, AC/DC will be the subject of a 7 News television special.
The news programme will explore AC/DC’s extraordinary legacy by sharing the story about how two brothers from suburban Sydney – Angus and Malcolm Young – would go on to form one of the biggest musical acts of all time.
Airing on Sunday (2 November) at 9 pm AEDT on Seven and 7plus, AC/DC - The World’s Greatest Rock Band will showcase long-lost tapes and feature new interviews with the inside scoop about how the Aussie rockers took over the globe.
AC/DC’s story won’t be told only by insiders, but also by those who have worshipped the band and drawn from their music in their own bands. 7 News has secured exclusive interviews with Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, You Am I’s Tim Rogers, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, Amyl And The Sniffers’ Amy Taylor and Declan Mehrtens, and Wolfmother’s Andrew Stockdale.
You can watch a sneak peek of the program below.
