After ten long years, AC/DC are finally coming home this November and December.
Following weeks of rumours and official teases from the band, including their signature lightning bolt and “ARE YOU READY?” signs appearing on buildings across the country, AC/DC have confirmed their 2025 PWR UP tour of Australia.

Beginning at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Wednesday, 12 November, the stadium run continues at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Friday, 21 November, the bp Adelaide Grand Final on Sunday, 30 November, Perth’s Optus Stadium on Thursday, 4 December, and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on Sunday, 14 December.
With plenty of space between dates and high demand, we wouldn’t be surprised to see additional shows announced for this tour. AC/DC will be joined by special guests Amyl And The Sniffers on all shows.
Tickets to all shows will be available this Thursday, 26 June, at staggered local times per city, which are:
Sydney – 9 am via Ticketek (AEST)
Adelaide – 10 am via Ticketmaster (ACST)
Brisbane – 11 am via Ticketek (AEST)
Melbourne – 1 pm via Ticketek (AEST)
Perth – 1 pm via Ticketek (AWST)
You can find more information via the TEG Van Edmond website.
For this tour, AC/DC comprises vocalist Brian Johnson, Angus Young on lead guitar, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney (not to be confused with The Living End’s Chris Cheney).
AC/DC last headlined a tour in Australia in December 2015. In a review of their show at Domain Stadium (or the Subiaco Oval), The Music’s Mark Beresford added:
AC/DC live has truly become a rite of passage for Australian music fans, the crowd spanning so many generations, all singing along to rock classics soaked in blue-collared, sun-drenched pub styles, captivating everyone from the hardcore fans driving eight hours to attend to the inner city kid who wants to experience the phenomenon while they still can. It's absolutely enormous, it's an all-inclusive show and it's rock and fucking roll — long live AC/DC.
