As a new partnership with Music SA is announced
With Adelaide’s festival scene gearing up to unleash a cultural overload on the city in the coming month, The Music returns to the streets of South Australia with another special print issue covering all things music, comedy, arts, culture and more.
The Music’s third print issue in the state — out today - revolves around the epic Fringe program, while also touching on the best bars and restaurants, what emerging artists to keep an eye on, and detailing the massive WOMAD and Adelaide Festival line-ups.
The announcement comes as the national entertainment outlet unveils a new partnership with the state’s music body, Music SA.
Adelaide audiences will now also have access to Australia’s most comprehensive gig guide via the Music SA website, with the organisation embedding The Music’s real-time gig guide, which covers off all the major upcoming events alongside news, interviews, reviews and more.

The Music managing director, Craig Treweek, said the collaboration would provide emerging local talent a national platform to be heard.
“As we increase out presence in South Australia, it’s clear the state’s entertainment scene is fast becoming one of the most vibrant in the world," Treweek said.
“We look forward to not only giving emerging talent a national platform to be heard, but further establishing ourselves in the state with continued seasonal print issues and breaking industry news on a regular basis.”
In addition to The Music’s Daily SPA newsletter, their relationship with Oztix sees them serving up SA content to more than 100,000 Adelaide subscribers in their combined Just The Ticket newsletter.
Music SA general manager Lisa Bishop said: “I’m thrilled that Music SA has formed a partnership with theMusic.com.au to bring SA audiences a real-time online gig guide. Not only will it provide national exposure for SA musicians but it allows Music SA to focus on important industry development work.”
