'The Masked Singer' Claims Top Spot As Tuesday's Most Popular Entertainment Program

As another celebrity contestant is revealed.

The Masked Singer Australia has moved up in the ratings for its second episode. 

According to TV Tonight, the popular reality singing competition landed itself two places in the evening's top 10. 

The show's celebrity reveal came in at #5 for the night with 942,000 viewers, while the main show came in at #6 with 818,000 viewers. 

This also secures the program as the evening's highest rating entertaining program, with only Seven and Nine's news programs ahead and entertainment programs like Ahn's Brush With Fame, The Chase Australia and Home & Away behind.

Additionally, the show has also topped the 25-54, 18-49 and 16-39 age demographics.

A further six celebrity contestants appeared on the show last night, with former Australian cricketer Michael Bevan revealed as Hammerhead following his performance of Jimmy Barnes' Working Class Man.

Popular guesses for the evening's contestants included comedian and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here host Julia Morris for Kitten, george singer Katie Noonan for Sloth, former Eurovision competitor Isaiah Firebrace for Wizard, theatre star Lucy Durack for Cactus and Neighbours' Bonnie Anderson for Bushranger. 

The show made its season return on Monday night, with 823,000 viewers tuning in to see tennis legend Mark Philippoussis be revealed as Echidna

The Masked Singer Australia returns on Monday from 7.30pm on Channel Ten.
