'Deeply Embedded Oral Tradition Is In Our DNA': Vika & Linda Are Stronger Than Ever On 'Where Do You Come From?'

The "Like There's No Tomorrow" Tour

After touring nationally with Every Time I Die and 50 Lions on the 2010 Boys Of Summer jaunt, and joining House VS Hurricane on their largely sold out Perspectives Tour, Wollongong’s Mary Jane Kelly are hitting the road for their first headline run, with good friends Built On Secrets and Dead Kings along for the ride. Released in March this year, Mary Jane Kelly’s debut full-length Like There’s No Tomorrow shows just how the far the quartet has come since their 2008 EP, Our Streets Turn White. Propelled by one of the more creative rhythm sections in Australian hardcore and featuring some seriously genre-defying guitar work, the eleven-tracks on offer are the sound of a band that isn’t afraid to stand out from the pack. Newcomers they may be, but Melbourne’s Built On Secrets have already nabbed supports with The Amity Affliction, 3OH!3, Haste The Day, Set Your Goals and All Time Low, as well as selling out numerous hometown shows, appearing at the 2010 Push Over Festival and scoring a 4/5 star review for their debut EP Reflections in Blunt Magazine!

Rounding out this already-impressive bill is Canberra outfit Dead Kings. Having played with everyone from Bring Me The Horizon to Parkway Drive, the five-piece released one of last year’s most underrated heavy records in the form of their self-titled debut.
