Human LeagueBritish synth-pop pioneers The Human League have announced their return to Australia, today confirming tour dates for early 2027.
The tour follows their sold-out run Down Under in 2024. This time, the group will present their Generations: The Greatest Hits Tour, bringing decades of beloved hits to fans across the country.
Kicking off at Perth HPC on Wednesday, 27 January, the fun continues at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday, 30 January, Adelaide’s AEC Theatre on Wednesday, 3 February, Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Friday, 5 February, and concludes at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Tuesday, 9 February.

With hits like Don’t You Want Me, (Keep Feeling) Fascination, Human, Love Action (I Believe in Love), The Lebanon, Mirror Man, Being Boiled and many more, founding members Philip Oakey, Joanne Catherall, and Susan Ann Sulley continue to captivate their devoted fans.

Catching them at the Palais Theatre in 2024 for the 40th anniversary of DARE!, The Music’s Cyclone Wehner declared that The Human League are “the best live electronic band in music today.”
Wehner continued: “DARE!'s big singles inevitably shine – Open Your Heart, playful with its Casio tones. The Sound Of The Crowd, the group's UK break-out, feels like a Steel City club anthem. But DARE!'s album cuts have never sounded as dynamic, some bearing an ultramodern funk and others betraying a heightened techno ominousness – such as Do Or Die, with an idiosyncratic keytar jam, or I Am The Law, carried by Oakey's sonorous baritone. The haunting Seconds, about the senselessness of John Lennon's assassination, is as affecting as ever.
“Oakey is rejoined by Catherall and Sulley for the post-disco Love Action (I Believe In Love) and a celebratory version of his enduring duet (and trans-Atlantic #1) Don't You Want Me with Sulley – a pop opera due for a TikTok revival.”
