More Aussie Acts Invited To Play SXSW 2020

We're coming for you, Texas!

Aussie talent will dominate SXSW 2020, as evident via the music festival’s latest announcement.

The mammoth Texas event, taking place from 16-22 March, has unveiled its second round of showcasing artists, with Australian acts Alice Skye, A Swayze & The Ghosts, Cable Ties, Kota Banks, Sui Zhen and more invited to the festival.

Also invited is Alexander Biggs, Anatole, BATTS, Jamie-Lee Dimes, Leah Senior, Luke Howard, Quivers, Sarah Mary Chadwick and Sophie Hutchings, alongside international talent in the form of Bodywash (Canada), Wire (UK), Alina Pash (Ukraine), Dos Monos (Japan) and more.

SXSW’s first round of invites were sent out last month, with Baker Boy, Alex The Astronaut, Ali Barter, Mojo Juju, RVG and Bakers Eddy, among others, making the cut.
