Pop-punk icons Sum 41 will perform for the final time as part of their induction to the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame in March.

Pop-punk icons Sum 41 are gearing up to join the hallowed ranks of the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame, with the band’s induction set to take place in 2025.
Announced today, Sum 41 will be inducted into the Hall Of Fame at the JUNO Awards in Vancouver on March 30th. The induction will see the group join an illustrious list of names which includes the likes of Neil Young, Shania Twain, Rush, The Tragically Hip, k.d lang, and Nickelback.
“We’re excited to be back at the JUNOS and to receive this recognition,” the band said of the honour.
“We’ve come so far as a band since we first started and we look forward to celebrating in Vancouver with our fans and fellow Canadian artists.”

Sum 41 first formed in Ajax, Ontario in 1996, with the strength of their music and live shows resulting in a record deal with Island. Their debut album, 2001’s All Killer, No Filler, featured singles such as In Too Deep and Fat Lip, and saw them established as one of the 21st century’s leading pop-punk acts.
Over the ensuing 23 years, the band have released a total of eight studio albums, with 2024’s Heaven :x: Hell serving as their last, with a global farewell tour in the works.
Currently, Sum 41 are set to visit Australia for the final time only next week as part of their appearance on the Good Things festival lineup. The group will also be performing sideshows in Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney as a way to saw a proper goodbye.
Their farewell tour will wrap up in Toronto on January 30th, though their final appearance will take place as part of the JUNO Awards on March 30th when they receive their well-deserved induction into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame.
