Looking for a vibrant, sea-foam spattered way to spend your weekend? Look no further. Spindrift Music Festival, poised to set Port Lincoln alight on January 9th, promises to be the perfect summery Saturday.

Experience the best that live South Australian music has to offer on the Eyre Peninsula, the seafood capital of Australia - and as this is an all-ages regional music festival, be sure to bring the children along, as well as a picnic blanket to settle down on (not to mention sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses!). Immerse yourself in the best that this gorgeous peninsula has to offer.

The Spindrift Music Festival aims to be a community event that is fun for the whole family and has a little something for everyone, with not only local talent to sample, but a range of alcoholic and non-acoholic beverages and delicious snacks to enjoy as well. The first half of the day will see a kid’s disco taking place, as well as other family-friendly activities such as Xtreme Kites, paddling, and other thrilling watery games.

This picturesque festival boasts a stacked line-up of proudly South Australian acts, including The Funky Monks, Australia’s premiere Red Hot Chilli Peppers tribute show. Other bands include the grooving Little Fish Roots Reggae, pub-rockers Outnumbered, blues rock outfit ChickenSalt, jamming extravaganza Danger Fog, sunny rock four-piece Burnt Orange, and genre-collapsing horn-central band Brass Souls. With a line-up as genre-diverse as this, there is bound to be something to satisfy everyone’s musical sensibilities.

Taking place on a transformed Port Lincoln Foreshore, the gates to the Spindrift Music Festival will open at 9 am. Tickets are on sale now through Moshtix or through the event’s official website.
