The Spice Girls are planning a reunion, and this time it’s looking to be all five of them, with Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham reportedly leading the charge, Mel B (Scary Spice) said.
Speaking with The Daily Telegraph while in Australia filming her role as a judge on The Masked Singer with Chrissie Swan, Abbie Chatfield and Dave Hughes, Mel B indicated that the OG five Spice Girls are back together and working on a new project. “It’s about fucking time,” she commented, per Perth Now.
Mel B added, “We are doing something together as the Spice Girls, and it has always been me kind of championing everybody together. This time it was actually Victoria that was saying, ‘Come on, let’s all do something.’
“So we have got something in the works, which will be announced soon.
The Spice Girls reunion will be the first time the five-piece have reformed since performing at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games.
This reformation isn’t a complete surprise, as in May, Mel B told the British publication The Sun that the group were planning something special.

“We're just finishing off perfecting what we're going to be doing together, all five of us, but it's going to be something that the fans are really going to love,” she said.
When The Sun asked how they brought Victoria Beckham back on board, Mel B explained, “Well, it's not even about convincing her. She dressed me and my mum for when I got my MBE, so we've always been in contact.
“It’s not like none of us are speaking together, we've all got a group WhatsApp, but it's just about timing.
“She was really busy doing her fashion line and supporting David with his moves and his career, and obviously, she's got a bunch of kids, so it's just about finding the right time. And we've managed to do that, so there should be an announcement pretty soon.”
The Spice Girls – Mel B, Melanie C, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, and Victoria Beckham became the most popular band in Britain since The Beatles after forming the group in 1994.
