The support acts have been confirmed for Lewis Capaldi’s upcoming tour dates in Australia and New Zealand ahead of the completely sold-out run this December.

Capaldi has locked in a massive arena tour this December, with multiple dates in Sydney and Melbourne and sold-out shows in both Australia and New Zealand. Today, the tour has gotten even bigger with the announcement of the singer’s special guests on the tour.

Leading today’s announcement is the singer’s close friend, Irish-born Aaron Rowe. Dubbed a “generational” talent, Rowe has made waves with his debut single, Hey Ma, released earlier this year. From Sam Cooke to Nina Simone to Paulo Nutini, Rowe wears his influences on his sleeve.

In addition to being named special guest on the Australian dates of Capaldi’s tour, Rowe was recently named the support for Ed Sheeran’s 2026 stadium tour of Australia.

Alongside Rowe, Central Coast indie-pop artist Fletcher Kent joins Capaldi’s Australian tour dates. With three singles to his name, Kent has impressed with his deeply introspective, melodic songs Wasted, I’ll Be, and Are You Ready.

In New Zealand, rising soul-pop star Jude Kelly will open the shows. Since sharing her debut EP, The Seven Spirits Of Her, earlier this year, she gained the attention of Coldplay’s Chris Martin with the single Clarence. She made her debut headline show in Auckland last year, which sold out, and has appeared at New Zealand’s Rhythm & Vines Festival and toured alongside Sienna Spiro and Amble.

Lewis Capaldi has returned to the spotlight after two years of near-silence, releasing the chart-dominating new single Survive and, back in July, announced his first dates Down Under since his 2019/2020 tour.

Capaldi’s return to the stage comes after a challenging period for the singer-songwriter. In 2023, he performed at Glastonbury and was supported by the audience when he experienced vocal problems and struggles with his newly diagnosed Tourette’s syndrome, leaving him unable to finish the final song of his set, Someone You Loved.

Fast forward to June 2025, and Capaldi made a triumphant return to Glastonbury. He opened his seven-song set with Before You Go before sharing the live debut of his new song, Survive. Once again, he closed the set with Someone You Loved, but under very different circumstances.

“I couldn’t sing this song two years ago,” he told fans. “I might struggle to finish it today for different reasons. My name is Lewis Capaldi and I’m fucking back, baby.”
