With just a few months to go until Ed Sheeran’s highly anticipated return to Australia and New Zealand, four special guests have been added to the tour.
Joining the British superstar on all dates is Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy. The Riptide star recently released his first new music since 2022, and having opened for the likes of Taylor Swift and P!NK and performed at Coachella and Lollapalooza, Joy knows how to command a crowd.
Melbourne-based singer Mia Wray will also appear on all dates. This year, she released her debut album, hi, it’s nice to meet me, which has been nominated for the ARIA Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist Award and shortlisted for this year’s Australian Music Prize. One of Joy’s touring mates, Wray has also shared the stage with Spacey Jane and DMA’S.
All-female Irish supergroup BIIRD will appear exclusively in Perth and New Zealand. Since their formation last year, they’ve amassed a global following and will tour the globe in 2026. Another Irish act, Aaron Rowe, will join the tour in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Dubbed a “generational” talent, Rowe has made waves with his debut single, Hey Ma, released earlier this year.
“I feel very fortunate to be getting to open for Ed around Australia and New Zealand,” Vance Joy commented in a statement.
“He is a legendary artist. I am inspired by his songwriting and by his ability to hold any crowd, no matter the size, in the palm of his hand, and just by the way he goes about it all. It’s going to be a great run, and I’m excited to get to play a part in it! What a pleasure!”

Mia Wray added, “I saw Ed Sheeran play in Brisbane in 2013, and it blew my mind. The first cover I ever uploaded to YouTube was ‘The A Team’, so it’s such a huge honour to be asked to support him, I can’t bloody wait.”
Ed Sheeran will tour across Australia and New Zealand from January to March 2026. Tickets are available via the Frontier Touring website.
