The band's ARIA nominated LP will be out through Monotreme soon.
Sydney melodic post-rock group sleepmakeswaves continue to kick goals following the release of last year's ARIA nominated album …and so we destroyed everything, today announcing that said album has been licensed for international release.
The UK's Monotreme Records will release the album on vinyl and a special double-CD deluxe edition that will feature the album paired with the remixed album …and then they remixed everything, which features reworkings of the songs by the likes of 65daysofstatic, Rosetta, Kyson, Tangled Thoughts of Leaving and more.
65daysofstatic are one of the bands that sleepmakeswaves will join on the Monotreme roster, which also includes recent Aussie visitors This Will Destroy You and electronic acts Nedry and Stumbleine.

All parties seem pretty excited by the deal, statements from the band, its management and Monotreme all offering an exciting look at what the future might hold.
“We're hopeful this will lead to more overseas touring where we can see those of you who may have missed us the first time round,” the band said.
“In the meantime, we're going to keep on writing our next record. Hopefully it's not too long until you hear some new tunes from us.”
Birds Robe Records' Mike Solo expressed his admiration for the band's new international label and excitement at working alongside them.
“The work that Kim has done with Monotreme needs no introduction, but needless to say, it's a huge honour to be associated with a label whose ethics and achievements I greatly admire.”
The label itself was full of praise for their new signees.
“Their music belongs on a global stage up there with the best,” they said in a statement. “We believe that they have a great future ahead of them and that their intelligent, emotionally engaging music will be welcomed with open arms by lovers of great music everywhere.”
