It moves so fast, they can't keep up.
Bag Raiders' hit song Shooting Stars garnered international attention thanks to some choice memes a few years back and it's still going strong.
The track has charted on this week's US Billboard Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs list at #12 having spent a remarkable 37 weeks on the chart, despite being released in 2009.
Appearing on this week's episode of The Music Podcast, Jack Glass and Chris Stracey discussed the ongoing success of the song they released ten years ago, admitting they had no idea Shooting Stars would be so big at home or abroad.
"We used to mix out of that song in the breakdown [at gigs]," Stracey told host Neil Griffiths.
Glass added, "We didn't know what we were doing and I remember someone told us not to do it one time and we were like 'Oh ok, sure'."
While a string of different memes have been created around the tune, Glass cites the famous Harambe dance video as when he began to notice the resurgence of Shooting Stars.

"We started seeing weird internet stuff and the way we would find out about it is by the comments on YouTube," he said.
"The first one I remember is people saying 'RIP Harambe' and 'Harambe brought me here'. Like, hundreds of comments. And we were like, 'What the fuck is Harambe?'"
The attention only continued when Katy Perry re-created the Shooting Stars meme in the music video for Swish Swish which has since being viewed over 530 million times on YouTube.
Upon being told that Shooting Stars continues to chart in the US today Stracey said, "I did see someone tweet us a month ago... that's insane!
On the new episode of The Music Podcast, Glass and Stracey also reveal details on their long-awaited second album, Horizons, and when fans can expect to hear the full LP.
