Just over a fortnight remains until this year's third annual 4Elements All Age HipHop Festival in Bankstown, and organisers have further bolstered the event's ranks with an excellent second line-up of acts.

Joining the already enticing ranks are acclaimed rapper Sarah Connor, DMC World Champion DJ i-DEE, emergent Indigenous artist Dobby and captivating physical entertainers Dauntless Movement Crew (also known as DMC, as distinct from the aforementioned DMC, which is short for Disco Mix Club).

Connor hits the bill on the back of a massive past few years, which has seen her rack up acclaim from her 2014 victory in Briggs' Sheplife King Of The Town competition to being a triple j Unearthed feature artist and Come Together guest-spot winner, and victor of the 2015 Hilltop Hoods/APRA AMCOS Initiative. DJ i-DEE, as mentioned, has crushed it on the international stage, earning a hard-won reputation for his superlative turntable skills and showmanship, while Sydney-based hip hop up-and-comer Dobby is looking to break out in a big way with his high-profile inclusion on the festival's bill.

Rounding out the new entertainment, DMC are billed as "the leading providers of combined movement instruction in Australia devoted to physical expression and entertainment", and promise to bring an added dimension of visual impressiveness to the event's proceedings through their renowned skills at tricking, parkour, acrobatics, dance and fire stunts. Heck, yes.

The four acts are added to a massive existing bill that boasts drawcards such as L-FRESH The Lion (with a full band), Luka Lesson (also backed by a band), Vuli (of True Vibenation), Rapaport, Mirrah (yup, with a band), Adriana, Mumbles, Zeadala and a tonne of other acts, plus DJ work from Manny, Diola, Seb One and others, dance from Praiz, Joker, The Groove Allegiance, The Kolours Crew and The Little Dragons, and live graffiti, art and an exhibition gallery that includes works by Swaze, Sektor, Sid Tapia, Jesta, Sophieaye, Stayfly, Liza Moscatelli and a raft of contemporaries.

The jam-packed day also includes a series of youth workshops, artist programs and the alcohol- and drug-free festival in line with Harmony Day celebrations, making for a perfect intersection of education, community and industry designed to give the youth of Western Sydney a chance to break down barriers and realise their fullest potential.

The free ticketed event all goes down on Saturday 18 March in Bankstown, featuring more than 100 local artists and industry leaders across the music, dance, graffiti and street art communities.
