US musician Ryan Adams has been accused of sexual misconduct by several women in a new report released today.
According to The New York Times, “seven women and more than a dozen associates described a pattern of manipulative behavior in which Adams dangled career opportunities while simultaneously pursuing female artists for sex”.
One of the allegations includes a 20-year-old former musician who claims Adams began corresponding with her online in 2013 when she was 14, which eventually lead to ‘graphic texting’ and Adams exposing himself via webcam.
Musicians Phoebe Bridgers and Courtney Jaye, and Adams’ ex-wife actress and musician Mandy Moore, are just some of the women who have come forward with allegations in the story.
Adams has responded to the allegations via his lawyer who denied the “extremely serious and outlandish accusations” in the article.

Additionally, Adams has taken to Twitter to apologising to “anyone I have ever hurt, however unintentionally.”
“The picture that this article paints is upsettingly inaccurate. Some of its details are misrepresented; some are exaggerated; some are outright false. I would never have inappropriate interactions with someone I thought was underage. Period.”
