Avenged SevenfoldIt’s been twelve long years, but at long last, Avenged Sevenfold are returning to Australia and New Zealand this year.
Today’s news arrives after recent teasing of Avenged Sevenfold’s long-awaited return to Australia by the venues and tour promoters.
Taking over arenas across the East Coast of Australia and in Auckland, the American heavy metal icons are bringing a star-studded roster of special guests with them: American progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria, and Melbourne’s own alt-metal outfit, Thornhill, will open the shows.
The tour commences at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Friday, 16 October. The shows continue at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Sunday, 18 October, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday, 20 October, and conclude at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Friday, 23 October.
Members of Avenged Sevenfold’s Deathbats Club and Deathbats Rewards Ticketpass programs will have priority access to tickets, with their request window now open.
