Nearly three years after first starring as a guest judge on an episode of Drag Race Down Under, Amy Taylor once again starred as a guest judge—but this time, on the original series, RuPaul’s Drag Race.

However, this time was a bit different, as two of the episode’s contestants used their lip sync segment to deliver a raucous performance of Amyl And The Sniffers’ expletive-laden single, Jerkin’.

The episode finds two drag queens, Athena Dion and Jane Don’t, lip-syncing a highly censored version of Jerkin’, the original featuring at least nine swear words throughout the song. You can watch the performance below.

In 2024, Amyl And The Sniffers performed Jerkin’ on The Last Leg, which gave Adam Hills the unenviable task of attempting to censor Taylor as the band performed the Cartoon Darkness single.

With the opening line of: “You’re a dumb c*nt, you’re an asshole / Every time you talk, you mumble, grumbles / Need to wipe your mouth after you speak / ‘Cause it’s an asshole, bum hole, dumb c*nt,” Adam Hills quipped that “it won’t surprise you to know that there is some very strong language in this song.”

Hills attempted to bleep out the swears during the band’s performance, with varying levels of success.

Upon releasing Jerkin’ in late 2024, Taylor said of the inspiration behind the song: “It’s good to express your anger when someone’s been pissing you off, and it’s good to have humour in life, especially as a woman, when you’re meant to just passively say ‘everything’s good’ to keep everyone else comfortable.”

Adding that the “best part” of Jerkin’ is that its terminology can apply to anyone, she continued, “The best part about this song is that a squirter can be anybody's genitals. I wanted to write a song to big up ‘the self’ while putting down the ‘other’ because sometimes, even if it's just for a small window, that’s the best way to laugh something off and empower yourself.

“World’s pissing me off and breaking my heart more than ever right now, might as well poke it back. It’s pointless, but it’s cathartic.”

Last week, Amyl And The Sniffers attended the Grammy Awards after receiving their first-ever nomination for Best Rock Performance, for their track U Should Not Be Doing That. Yungblud ultimately took out the award with his tribute to Ozzy Osbourne.
