Reverend Horton Heat To Embark On Australian Tour

The three-piece psychobilly heroes make a triumphant return.

The incomparable kings of psychobilly, The Reverend Horton Heat, have today announced that they will be back on Australian soil mid-year.

The band has been slamming out high octane rock'n'roll for the best part of 30 years now, pulling together a series of genres like country, surf, punk, big band, swing and rockabilly, with some highly entertaining lyrics – exploring subjects like sex, drugs, booze, and cars – to boot.

It was their incredible showmanship, particularly that of frontman Jim “Revernd Horton” Heath, that built them such a strong cult following through the 1990s, but as they age they still come across as fresh and vital as ever, as anyone who has seen them on their past tours will attest.

Scott Churilla is back on drums, Jimbo Wallace is still pounding that upright bass like nobody's business and together this three piece will deliver a rock'n'roll sermon quite unlike anything you've seen or heard before.
