The event takes place next month
Melbourne's cultural bonanza White Night has unveiled its line-up for this year, with a plethora of music and art to be on display this February.
For those keen to hear and witness some of the best local indie talent, the Indie Music Stage is of course the place for you, with artists such as rapper Remi, singer-songwriter Jen Cloher, buzz ensemble NO ZU, emerging quintet Total Giovanni, lush Brisbane singer Airling and Sydney-based crooner Jack Ladder & The Dreamlanders set to perform throughout the event.
The Music For A World Stage line-up is also impressive. Indigenous MC Briggs, Sydney soul artist Ngaiire and African funk troupe The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra are confirmed to play while stalwart roots muso Jeff Lang is teaming up with tabla playing maestro Bobby Singh for a special performance.
Jazz fans will also be treated to sets from a variety of acts including The Cairo Club Orchestra, Tijuana Peanuts, Movement 9, Emma D & The Putbacks and the reuniting Los Cabrones as part of Jazz @ The Forum. And classical fans haven't been forgotten either, with Baroque At The Block to play host to various Melbourne classical musicians at The Block Arcade.
