The LMFAO star just made his professional tennis debut at the age of 49.

American rapper and singer Redfoo has taken a surprise career change, sharing that he participated in his first professional tennis tournament.
Stefan Kendal Gordy, the son of Berry Gordy Jr, commonly known as Redfoo, best known for party rocking with LMFAO, made his professional tennis debut at the M15 Sharm El Sheikh tournament in Egypt during the ITF Men’s World Tennis Tour.
People reports that Redfoo won his first set of the qualifying round 6-0. He continued through the tournament, eventually playing against Norwegian player Leyton Rivera. He lost the 43-minute match in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0.
Following the loss, he wrote on Instagram: “I lost the match, but this was my best point. Good match and good luck, Leyton Rivera.” He also shared a video of said shot – check that out below.
The self-proclaimed “tennis baller” has tried his hand at tennis before. In 2013, Redfoo attempted to participate in the US Open.

From 2012 to 2014, Redfoo dated Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka, who was ranked the world #1 in Women’s Singles in 2012.

For two years (2013 and 2014), Redfoo was a judge on The X Factor Australia, replacing Aussie judge Guy Sebastian. He was on the judging panel alongside Ronan Keating, Natalie Bassingthwaite, and Dannii Minogue. He premiered the solo track Let’s Get Ridiculous on the X Factor stage.
LMFAO’s second album, Sorry For Party Rocking, was released in 2011. It peaked at #2 in Australia, while the single Party Rock Anthem peaked at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified fifteen times platinum. Sexy And I Know It also hit #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart and has been certified twelve times platinum.
