Melbourne's iconic Prince Of Wales Public Bar has revitalised the live music scene in St Kilda, with the announcement that they will host four live music nights for free each week.
The beloved venue looks to return to its former glory with themed nights taking place each Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Tuesday's have been revamped and renamed A Taste Of Indie which include live acoustic and original performances from bands and artists, while Friday's have adopted the name Watts On Presents and feature three live rock bands, as well as rock'n'roll DJ's each week.
With the announcement earlier this month that popular local venue The Espy will be closing its doors for renovations, resident act Phil Para has brought his show over to the Public Bar to perform every Saturday night — his first show took place last week.
Para performed for a record breaking 30 years at The Espy, 19 of which were on Saturdays, but he promises to continue to deliver his classic renditions of legendary acts such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan each week.
