Australian music legend Paul Kelly is well and truly feeling the love for his 2025 tour, announcing a second and final Melbourne date to his itinierary.
Kelly announced his massive run of shows in October, with the artist performing headline dates in arenas throughout Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Hobart, Adelaide, and Melbourne, before a trio of shows over in New Zealand throughout August and September 2025.
His largest shows to date, the massive demand has now seen Kelly announce an additional (and final) Melbourne show for Rod Laver Arena, set to take place on Sunday, September 7th.
“I remember playing Rod Laver Arena with Leonard Cohen a while back,” Kelly reflected. “I loved the way he went about it. He made the space so intimate. I’m looking forward to making many moods there with my band, stillness and storm, a concert with all our colours.”
Kelly won’t be alone in helping make the massive venues feel intimate, because Kelly will be joined by special guests Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit. Hailing from the US, the country/rock group won the Grammy Award for Best Americana Album with last year’s album, Weathervanes. Punters in Australia will also witness the power of Fanny Lumsden, one of Australia’s most successful country music exports.
In New Zealand, Kelly will be joined by special guest singer/songwriter Reb Fountain.
