"Safety is our number one thing."
Parkway Drive are scheduled to play some of their biggest shows in Australia to date this June but, like most local and international tours, the COVID pandemic has changed those plans drastically.
Appearing on a new episode of The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast, frontman Winston McCall gave an update on where the upcoming arena tour stands.
"I highly doubt people will be going in large gatherings until there's a vaccine out because no one is gonna risk it," McCall told host Neil Griffiths.
"Who the hell would want to risk that? We sure wouldn't.
"Either way, we're trying to be realistic with what we do. We don't like cancelling things so we're just gonna re-book... for down the track."
Currently, the tour is going ahead as planned but McCall has conceded that the run could very well be rescheduled due to coronavirus.

"In my mind, that would probably be it, but we're not sure," he said.
"At this point in time, we have no idea because it's not even down to just us pulling something. We've gotta then go to everyone that facilitates the show and all the back end behind it and the actual venues that we're hiring.
"Everyone is just scrambling for information and certainty. Until everyone has a certain idea of what's going on within their certain fields, it's so hard to make a call on anything.
"Safety is our number one thing. We're just gonna follow whatever people tell us what to do in terms of safety and that's it.
"If it happens, we'll just shift it and the same tour will happen when everyone is in a good place to do it."
