Noah Cyrus is returning to Australia this November, today announcing a string of sideshows alongside her performance at Changing Tides festival in Kiama.

She performs at the festival on Saturday, 22 November, and has locked in tour dates along the East Coast on Thursday, 20 November, at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre, Sunday, 23 November, at Sydney’s Roundhouse, and Monday, 24 November, at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall.

Fans can purchase pre-sale tickets on Thursday, 25 September, at 10 am local time – register here to access those tickets – ahead of the general sale on Friday, 26 September, at 11 am local time via the Secret Sounds website.

Cyrus is touring in support of her latest album, I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME. A recorded rooted in Americana, indie folk, and country, she worked on the dynamic and moody album alongside co-producers Mike Crossey and PJ Harding.

With whispered vocals and full-chested singing, Cyrus mixes her signature brand of pop music with instruments ordinarily associated with country music, such as pedal steel, banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, cellos and acoustic guitars.

The album also finds Cyrus honouring her family and working with some big names. As noted in a press release, Apple Tree features her late grandfather, Ron Cyrus, who recites a hymn written by her great-grandfather, Eldon Lindsey Cyrus.

That isn’t the only song that honours her family. On the tracklist is With You, the first song her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, ever wrote, and Don’t Put It All On Me, which was written by her brother Braison and recorded as a collaboration starring Fleet FoxesRobin Pecknold. Other collaborators include country stars Blake Shelton and Ella Langley.

“I want this album to offer fans a sense of comforting, peaceful nostalgia,” Cyrus said of the album. “That’s something I feel so heavily when I listen to music. We all want to connect with our past while also being aware of the present moment. Music does that for me, and this collection of songs was made with that in mind.”

Cyrus will headline Changing Tides festival alongside British singer-songwriter Sam Fender and share the stage with Holly Humberstone, The Rubens, Skegss, MAY-A, and more.
