Will Red Right Hand save the struggling South Australian tourist region?
The Barossa Valley is already renowned as one of the country's finest wine districts, but the local tourist board are looking to broaden the appeal of the South Australian region as they launch a brand new $6 million advertising campaign, backed by one of Australia's most iconic voices.
Nick Cave provides the soundtrack for the new television commercial which will begin airing in just over a week's time, fitting in with what can only be described as an 'edgy' new approach to selling the region as a tourist destination for a wider demographic.

Figures indicate that tourism dollars for the region dropped 44 per cent in the past ten years and that there has been a 45 per cent decrease in interest from interstate travellers.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds recently released Push The Sky Away, which became Cave's first ever number one album in Australia when it was released in February.
Red Right Hand, which soundtracks the campaign, is one of Cave's most well-known songs and is taken from his 1994 album Let Love In.
