Aussies dominate the US
The latest effort from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds continues to dominate charts across the globe, with Skeleton Tree scoring the Aussie icon’s highest US chart position to date.
Cave’s sixteenth album debuted at #27 on the Billboard Top 200, beating The Bad Seeds’ previous US high of #29, reached with Push The Sky Away in 2013.
The news follows Skeleton Tree reaching #1 in Australia, New Zealand, Norway and Denmark and claiming a #2 debut in the UK.
Over on the Top 100 Billboard Chart, Lady Gaga’s Kevin Parker collab Perfect Illusion has debuted at #15, while Sia’s The Greatest feat. Kendrick Lamar reaches a new peak of #24, and her Sean Paul effort, Cheap Thrills, holding its place #4 after 31 weeks on the charts.

Aussie talent is also prominent in the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart with Sydney dance-pop artist Betty Who’s I Love You Always Forever reaching a new peak of #15 after a month in the charts, closely followed by Victorian act Cookin' On 3 Burners also reaching new heights after acclaim in the UK with French producer Kungs' remix of their track, This Girl, featuring Kylie Auldist, moving up to #16.
