Announcing the tour on Instagram today, MAY-A expressed excitement for going on tour again, a few years after her last headline tour.
“Surprise!!!! We’re going on tour ⭐️👩❤️💋👩🦇 It’s been a few years since our last headline and I can not wait to play all of these new songs with the band,” she wrote.
MAY-A continued, “THIS IS GOING TO BE SO AWESOME.” And in the comments, she added, “Can’t wait to see all ur faces again.”

While MAY-A’s new album is set for release next month, fans have already had a taste of the singer’s latest record, having experienced the singles (I’m here for the) GIRLS, [REDACTED], Claws and Catching Up 2 U.
Upon announcing the record in November, which features collaborators including Carlos de la Garza (Paramore), Chloe Dadd, Chris Greatti (Yungblud), Robby De Sa, and Foo Fighters drummer Ilan Rubin, MAY-A opened up about the genre-stretching experience.
“I really didn’t want this album to get tied down into any specific sound or genre. I think I’ve kind of avoided that for my whole musical career thus far, because I don’t really know where I want to go,” she explained.
She added, “I didn’t want to lock myself too much into emo or too much into rock or too much into pop or soft pop or any of the other sub genres that there are, I kind of wanted that open slate for whatever I do next.”
