Idris Elba Joined Lime Cordiale On Stage Last Night: ‘He Killed It’

You can expect the unexpected at a Lime Cordiale gig.

The Aussie rockers surprised fans during last night’s show at Sydney’s iconic Enmore Theatre with a special guest appearance from superstar Idris Elba.

The British actor, writer, producer, rapper and singer-songwriter, who’s currently in the country to film Thor: Love And Thunder, jumped on stage to sing Unnecessary Things.

“Idris has been in Australia for a while now and starting listening to our music,” Lime Cordiale’s Oli Leimbach said.

“Following an introduction, we invited him into the studio to feature on a track. One track has now turned into many and we’ve got an exciting project in the works.

“It was his idea to jump on stage last night. He killed it!”
