Lil Uzi Vert has today revealed that they're set to drop their latest album, Pink Tape, this Friday, June 30.

Serving as a follow-up to 2020's Eternal Atake and its expansion, LUV vs. The World 2, Pink Tape will feature a whopping 26 tracks.

We've already been given a taste of what's to come from the new release, with the Philadelphia rapper debuting the album's first single Just Wanna Rock on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in April.

Along with the announcement, Uzi also dropped the trailer for the new album, which sees them in an anime-style universe as they battle a cartoon villain in order to retrieve a pink diamond stolen from their forehead - a reference to the $24 million pink diamond that was torn out during a performance at Rolling Loud Miami in 2021.

The news comes as the hip-hop icon is set to make their way Down Under for this year's Listen Out Festival, which will also see music heavyweights Skrillex, Four Tet, JPEG MAFIA and more hit the stage.

The rapper has also been busy linking up with other artists over the past two years, making more than 20 appearances on tracks by Yeat, Pusha T, Tyler, the Creator, Baby Keem, Gucci Mane, Future, and more.

Earlier this month, Uzi also opened up about a deeply personal aspect of their identity, explaining their embracing of gender nonconformity while adopting 'they/them' pronouns after they quietly changed their Instagram bio to they/them back in July 2022.

In an interview with fashion mag 032, Uzi was asked if they initially struggled to make the move in regards to their identity.''

"I never hesitated," the Just Wanna Rock rapper admitted. I did take my time to learn as much as I could about this before I was able to proceed. Taking the time to figure out who you are is a big part of what it means to be alive."

"Once you figure out whether you’re here with it, there with it, or both, you’re not alone anymore. This community offers access to a certain kind of support that you might not have had [previously during] your entire life because you weren’t raised that way."

They added, "I come from a household where it’s not okay to be 'non' anything."

"I’m not brave at all. I just think a good product [is] a good product. Think about fashion. Gay and trans designers are some of the biggest talents out there, and gangster-ass guys wear their stuff without a thought."

"What you make is what matters, not how you identify."
