This'll be big.
The world has been given new records from two legends in their own fields this week in US punk trio Green Day's Revolution Radio and Bee Gees co-founder Barry Gibb's In The Now and while both are set to challenge for the #1 spot on the ARIA Albums Chart, they could both very well be beaten to the punch by triple j's latest Like A Version compilation.
Volume 12 of the covers album, which features tracks from Tame Impala, Childish Gambino and Sarah Blasko among others, is also a hot contender for top spot and could nab it from Green Day and Gibb, similar to last year when Volume 11 beat Aussie legends Cold Chisel to #1.
While Green Day have enjoyed three number one albums in Australia (the last being 2012's Uno), Gibb is yet to tick off a solo #1, having only released one other solo effort in 1984's Now Voyager.
Others looking to challenge for #1 this week includes songwriter Norah Jones with Day Breaks and Alter Bridge's The Last Hero (both set for top five debuts), as well as Meshuggah's The Violent Sleep Of Reason, OneRepublic's Oh My My and Sum 41's comeback LP, 13 Voices (primed to place in the top ten).

Rounding out album debuts this week include Paul Kelly & Charlie Owen's Death's Dateless Night, DD Dumbo's Utopia Defeated, Melissa Etheridge's Memphis Rock & Soul, The Panics' Hole In Your Pocket and NOFX's First Ditch Effort.
Over on the Singles chart, the only likely threats that could dethrone The Chainsmokers' record-breaking chart-topper, Closer featuring Halsey, is Canadian artist The Weeknd with Starboy featuring Daft Punk and US pop star Hailee Steinfeld's Starving, both set to move up into the top five.
Meanwhile, Bruno Mars' first track from his upcoming album, 24K Magic, is anticipated to debut towards the top ten.
Expect to also hear new tracks from Lady Gaga with Million Reasons, Marc E Bassy's Groovy People EP, Frenship's Capsize featuring Emily Warren and Joel Adams' Please Don't Go.
