Kylie MinogueAs another week of Melbourne lockdown trudges to a close, let's look back at some of the better things that have happened in the world of music over the past seven days.
We Should Be So Lucky
While celebrating the birthday of Aus pop royalty Kylie Minogue last Friday, ABC Radio hosts Jacinta Parsons and Brian Nankervis were treated to a very special surprise.
During the call-in segment where fans were encouraged to ring in and recall their personal encounters with the Spinning Around singer, Minogue herself called in!
You can listen to the incredible moment this all went down via the link here.
What A Twist!
Melbourne DJ and producer Geoff Strurre has dropped the bass on one of Australia's biggest nostalgia trips with this incredible remix of the theme tune to Round The Twist.

As any '90s kid will tell you, that cackling laugh from the top of the theme hits hard and transports you straight back to the lighthouse where strange things happen.
Hoodoos Do Good
The beautiful folks over at The Breakfast Club in Queensland are putting on their annual Rockin' For The Homeless show next month on July 17.
All the proceeds will go towards helping the local community provide meals for the homeless, and features the likes of Hoodoo Gurus, The Superjesus, Def FX and stacks more.
