Jimmy Barnes ProfileSummer may still be a couple of months away, but the stages are already heating up, with the Red Hot Summer Tour today announcing the line-up for its 2027 trek.
Kicking off in January, the eight-date affair will bring an all-star Australian line-up across the country, with stops in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and Tasmania.
Leading the charge is none other than iconic Cold Chisel frontman Jimmy Barnes, who brings a mesmerising life and legacy of anthemic choruses, chart-topping records, and inductions into the ARIA Hall Of Fame to audiences around the country.
Fellow charismatic frontman Jon Stevens also brings his livewire energy to crowds as he presents the Noiseworks & INXS Collection. Alongside crowd favourites from the eclectic Noiseworks discography, Stevens' time spent fronting INXS also sees him belting out plenty of their party-starting hits, too, providing a showcase of the best Australian tunes of the past 40 years.
Perth chart-topped Birds Of Tokyo also bring their catalogue of favourites to the line-up, as do fellow West Australians Eskimo Joe, who next year celebrate their third decade of iconic choruses.
Sydney hard-rockers Baby Animals also join the bill, with magnetic Suze DeMarchi and Dave Leslie helping lead the charge on a group whose status as household names still remains to this day.
Meanwhile, the 2027 edition is rounded out by the addition of Melbourne favourites Chocolate Starfish, and The Superjesus' iconic Sarah McLeod, who takes to the stage as one half of a powerful rock duo formed with drummer extraordinaire Mick Skelton.
Launching at the Mannum Golf Club on January 9th, the high-energy line-up will head along to Warrnambool, Lake Macquarie, Southport, Port Macquarie, Yarra Valley, Launceston, and Wodonga over the following two months.
Tickets to the 2027 Red Hot Summer Tour go on sale from 12pm local time on Friday, October 9th.
A Telstra pre-sale runs for 24 hours from 11am local time on Wednesday, October 7th, while a Red Hot Summer Tour/Face To Face pre-sale runs 23 hours from 12pm local time on Thursday, October 8th.
