'Make Drug Use Safer': Have Your Say In The World's Largest Drug Survey

Open until the end of the month.

The world’s largest drug survey is underway, with organisers turning to punters across the globe, including Australians, for help.

The ninth survey of its kind, Global Drug Survey 2020’s aim is to “make drug use safer” and promote “honest conversation about drug use”.

The GDS wants to hear from people who attended festivals, clubs and more across Australia; specifically, “what they consumed, any harms experienced, whether they accessed medical services and what types of policies they would like to see to improve safety in nightlife and festival settings.”

Its 2019 findings, which included data from 7864 Australians, were used in the NSW Coronial Inquiry into Festival Related Deaths.

The anonymous and confidential survey is open now until December 30, with first results available next May.

Head to the Global Drug Survey website for more details and to have your say.
