"I would like my money back."

More FKA twigs More FKA twigs

Carriageworks, the venue that hosted FKA twigs' one-off Sydney gig last night for Vivid, is being slammed on social media following the show.

Punters are claiming due to the layout of the venue they were unable to see anything, with many taking to the event's Facebook page to ask for a refund.

"So disappointed," one post read. "Why would you put on a show by a visual and intimate performer, and put them on such a low stage so that 80% of people can't see a damn thing? My friend walked out after three songs because she couldn't see anything."

"I would like my money back, could not see a thing and this is not the first time this has happened at Carriageworks but it will be the last time I pay to see an artist perform at the Carriageworks unless you seriously sort your shit out," another said.

The Music's Melissa Borg attended the show last night and wrote in her review, "This was a show made to be seen... However, unfortunately much of the audience settled for catching it in glimpses, unless they were lucky enough to make the front row." Check out the full review here.

Carriageworks has since posted a statement to the page apologising to those who couldn't see.

"The international staging of twigs’ Magdalene tour does not include large scale video screens," the statement read. "We take on board your comments about stage height and will work towards making our future music events better."

Punters are also claiming there was an "excessive police presence" outside the venue.

The Music has reached out to Carriageworks for further comment.
