Aussie dance event Festival X will not be going ahead in 2020.
Following its huge debut last year, which saw sets from major acts like Calvin Harris, Armin van Buuren, Alison Wonderland and Steve Aoki, the December festival has been called off due to the ongoing COVID restrictions.
"After an incredible first year, we regret to inform you that this year’s Festival X will not be going ahead," a statement issued today reads.
"We have been closely monitoring the local and global situation and out of an abundance of caution for fans, artists, partners, crew and staff, it has become clear that it is not possible for this year’s event to go ahead this December as planned.
"We thank the Festival X community for your continued support, loyalty and hope you stay safe.
"We will be back stronger than ever in 2021!"
