Prolific Australian country artist Fanny Lumsden has shared a glimpse at the creation of her acclaimed album Fallow - which came to life in regional NSW last summer during the devastating bushfires – via a new 10-minute documentary.

Premiering today via The Music, Mountain Mama Take Me Home – Fallow & The Tooma Valley was written and produced by Lumsden and Dan Stanley Freeman and provides a behind-the-scenes look at the album’s inspiration and recording process.

Lumsden wrote and recorded Fallow in a stone hut in the Tooma Valley, NSW while the mega fire surrounded their small Snowy Mountains community, and the new documentary features stark footage of the events alongside tour clips and more.

Check it out below.

Fallow is out now via Red Dirt Road Records/Cooking Vinyl Australia.
