Perth Metallica fans, get keen because Live Nation has released a limited batch of tickets to the band’s show at Optus Stadium this November.
Sharing the exciting news on social media this afternoon, the tour promoters shared a link to purchase tickets—but it’s a limited ticket release, so if fans haven’t scored tickets yet, they’d want to act soon to get their hands on the hottest heavy metal tickets available.
At the time of publication, only one section of seats—303—was available. The bulk of tickets are on sale in GA 1—Standing Room Only. General admission tickets cost $314.19, while seated tickets in section 303 cost $698.35.
You can purchase tickets via Ticketmaster.

Metallica announced their long-awaited return to Australia in October. This is their first run of tour dates Down Under since they headlined Soundwave Festival in 2013. The band will perform in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland.
The tour won’t just see Metallica perform down under—they’ll be joined by special guests Evanescence and Suicidal Tendencies, two regular visitors to Australia with dedicated fanbases.
The tour begins at RAC Arena, Perth, on Saturday, 1 November, before it continues to Adelaide Oval on Wednesday, 5 November; Marvel Stadium, Melbourne, on Saturday, 8 November; Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, on Wednesday, 12 November; Accor Stadium, Sydney, on Saturday, 15 November, and ends at Eden Park, Auckland, on Wednesday, 19 November.
Metallica are heading to Australia on their M72 World Tour, named after their 2023 album, 72 Seasons. The M72 Australian stadium tour, produced by Live Nation, will find the heavy metal icons performing at the end of stadiums, with the band’s infamous Snake Pit extended from the front of the stage.
While a majority of the band’s 2024 world tour dates consisted of their No-Repeat Weekend setlists – where they played in the same city for two nights and mixed up their setlists each night – the Australian and New Zealand dates are billed as a One Night Only tour.
You won’t want to miss out on tickets, Perth.
