Literally, inside it
There's a bunch of Closure In Moscow fans that are very happy to know that they can finally say there's a new album coming out this week.
Having flown under the radar for the past few years, it's easy to forget that the Melbourne-based band were once one of Australia's top punk rock exports, with their technical riffs and complicated time signatures a breath of fresh air for a rock scene getting tired with emo regularity. Signing to tastemakers Equal Vision they moved to America, a decision that produced mixed results amongst relentless tours and support slots.
In 2012 they re-appeared in front of industry at the BIGSOUND conference and delivered a very promising showcase of new material – material that will appear as part of their new (and second) album Pink Lemonade this Friday 9 May.
Still incredibly complex, the band have pushed conceptual boundaries further than before – packing more ideas, moods and themes than ever into Pink Lemonade. As such, the album artwork plays a big part of the record's overall package and while we've seen the album cover, theMusic.com.au is pretty keen to show you what we've been looking at all weekend – the full artwork.

Japanese themes appear throughout the record (wait till you hear the final track), while frontman Christopher de Cinque's obsessive probing of church and religion is never far away either.
Photography was done by Ben Clement, while Yeaaah! Studio did the artwork and layout for the release.
