The music icon was in Australia earlier this year for his farewell tour.
By now you've probably heard Lady Gaga's #1 album Chromatica and her collaboration with Elton John, but did you know that the music icon recorded his vocals in a famous Sydney studio?
While in the country for his farewell tour in January, John took a trip to Forbes St Studios in Woolloomooloo to record vocals for the track, Sine From Above, which was engineered by Nick Rowse and assistant engineered by James Raper who called the session an "eye opener".
"A seasoned superstar of his calibre, Elton works at light speed, and knows what he wants. So much so, I was caught a tad off guard," Rowse told The Music.
"Seeing him work, I was thoroughly impressed by his ethic and humbled by the experience. With Sine From Above making it onto Lady Gaga’s new album, Chromatica, it was an explosive reminder as to why I began a career in music."
Raper added, "Having the opportunity to not only meet, but also work with an icon like Elton John, is and always will be a career highlight for me.

"In sessions like these you want to be as professional as possible, but there was a moment when Elton began singing that myself, Nick Rowse and Elton's husband David Furnish all stopped what we were doing and just sat there in awe.
"This beautiful moment where we all just watched this icon do what he was born to do. Experiencing his professionalism, work ethic and incomprehensible talent was breathtaking. That moment will always stay with me and I cannot thank Universal and the people involved enough for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime."
