The Brisbane bi-monthly gigs are coming to a close - but not without a huge send off.

Despite kicking off this year with two mega lineups, SILO shows will be taking a hiatus - but not without a huge send off. Brisbane’s longest running live music club nights, curated by GRAIN, are basically mini-festivals, celebrating Aussie talent. And the final one will be no different… ish. For the first (and final, we guess?) time, SILO will feature two stages - stacked with icons aplenty.
Headlining the final SILO on June 6 will be DZ Deathrays, the dance-punk trio from Brisbane. Alongside them will be Sydney’s Radio Free Alice, Melbourne’s Sex Mask, and Brisbane’s Melaleuca (who will be playing their final show at SILO).
In addition to a few surprise guests and performers yet to be announced, other acts set to grace the stage on the night include Sonic Reducer, Dogworld, Ghost Mutt, and Alison (formerly known as Alison Road). And, of course, it wouldn’t be a SILO show without the appearance of GRAIN’s own DJs.

The final SILO gig will be held at The Brightside on June 6. Tickets for the event are on sale now, with first and second release already sold out in the time since the lineup dropped last night. Third release tickets are still available, and will set you back only $45.90. Find them here.
SILO shows have been running for years - since 2018, in fact - and are known for their refined taste, hosting a range of acts who have gone on to become household names. Genesis Owusu, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers, and Royel Otis are examples, just to name a few. Other notable acts include Teenage Joans, Bad//Dreems, STUMPS, Phantastic Ferniture, sweater curse, Party Dozen, RVG, Sunscreen, First Beige, Major Leagues, RAAVE TAPES and many, many more.
We’ll be sad to see SILO go for now - but we hope it’ll be back soon.
