"Some of our favourite ever shows have been there, and we’ve been desperate to play for you again," the UK punks wrote to fans.

UK “anti-folk punk band” Crywank are returning to Australia for the final time this March.
The band last toured Australia in October and November 2019. Since their previous visit, Crywank have broken up, reformed, added a new member – “Guard Petal” on bass – and unofficially broke the world record of most cities performed in 24 hours (in response to Frank Turner’s attempt of the same task).

Tomorrow at midday I start my unofficial record attempt for most cities performed in 24 hours
Here you can see I’m attempting 16 cities
A number so large nobody has yet been courageous enough to attempt
I am totally blagging this
So wish me luck x pic.twitter.com/tSyjlrhG6l

After over a decade of releasing heartfelt and darkly funny songs, Crywank promise a final “poignant celebration” of their legacy, with fan favourites and deep cuts from their discography set to feature on their Australian shows.
The tour begins on Wednesday, 19 March, at Crowbar in Brisbane before heading to Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Thursday, 20 March, and Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Saturday, 22 March. The band will also sell special limited copies of their 2013 album, Tomorrow Is Nearly Yesterday And Everyday Is Stupid, at the shows. Tickets are available now via the band’s Linktree.
Per a press release, fans are encouraged to cry at the band’s final Australian shows but reminded that “literal wanking is strictly off-limits.”
In a heartfelt address to their Australian fans, Crywank said of their final Australian tour, “It’s happening. This March!! We last played Australia over half a decade ago on what we thought would be our last tour. A pandemic happened shortly after, during this time apart we healed as a band, picked up a new member on bass (hi @guardpetal ) and now we are back.
“We are playing in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, and we are doing special limited copies of ‘Tomorrow is Nearly Yesterday’ for this tour. Australia is very far away and very expensive to tour when it’s on the other side of the world, but some of our favourite ever shows have been there and we’ve been desperate to play for you again. Please pick up a ticket if you can, we’d love to see you there.”
